17th Annual Convention, San Francisco 2007: IT Panel

Saturday, October 27 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm Da Vinci Room, 4th Floor Serbian Unity Congress with the support of Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society of Republic of Serbia will hold “IT Panel” within the SUC 17th Annual Convention. This will be a “kickoff” meeting for the “US-Serbia IT Summit” project, which is being planned for the Spring 2008!
The Main Objectives of the “US-Serbia IT Summit”:
Create business relationship with IT US companies, and provide incentives to US companies to establish and grow their business in Serbia. Organize “Technology Societies / Community Technology Centers” in Serbia and Republic of Serbia with a support from US companies. Establish collaboration between US and Serbian academic institutions.
The purpose of this work session is to verify the project objectives, discuss the project strategy, responsibilities, and deliverables, to establish the “US-Serbia IT Oversight Committee”, and to draft a high level project plan.
